Western Railway Adds More AC Local Trains in Mumbai from Shiv Jayanti.

Mumbai is a very busy city and many people use local trains to travel every day. These trains are the lifeline of the city. Recently the Western Railway gave a very big and happy gift to all the passengers in Mumbai. From 19 February which is the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj known as Shiv Jayanti the Western Railway started more AC local train services. This is very good news for the people who travel in Mumbai because the weather is getting hot and the trains are usually very crowded.

The Western Railway decided to increase the number of air conditioned trains to make the journey more comfortable for everyone. According to the news the railway authorities added 12 more AC local train services. Before this update there were 121 AC train services running on the Western line. Now with these new additions the total number of AC services has increased to 133. This means that passengers do not have to wait for a long time to get a cool and comfortable train. Out of these 12 services one is a completely new service while 11 other services are replacing the old non AC trains to give more comfort to the daily commuters.

Apart from the AC trains the Western Railway also introduced 3 new non AC local trains. This is helpful for the general public who want to travel at a low cost. The main aim of the railway is to manage the heavy rush of people during peak hours. In Mumbai millions of people go to their offices and businesses using these trains. When more trains are available the crowd gets divided and people can travel safely without much pushing.

One of the best parts of this new update is for the people who travel during the weekends. Usually there are fewer trains on Saturdays and Sundays. But now the Western Railway has increased the number of AC services on weekends too. Earlier there were only 77 AC services on weekends but now that number has gone up to 106. This is very helpful for families and friends who want to go out shopping or visiting places in Mumbai on their holidays. They can now enjoy a cool and relaxing ride without worrying about the heat or the crowd.

The demand for AC local trains in Mumbai has been growing very fast. More and more people prefer to pay a little extra money for a ticket to avoid the heat and sweat of the regular trains. The Western Railway noticed this demand and planned these new services. Even on the Harbour line of Central Railway the AC trains are getting a very good response from the public. People are happy because these trains help them reach their destination feeling fresh and energetic.

This new change started on the special day of Shiv Jayanti to honor the great king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is a way to celebrate the day by providing better facilities to the citizens of Mumbai. The railway officials said that they are always trying to improve the travel experience for the passengers. By adding more AC services they are making sure that the travel becomes world class and modern.

In conclusion the increase in AC local trains is a wonderful step by the Western Railway. It will help thousands of people every day. Whether it is a working day or a weekend the passengers will now have more options to choose a comfortable ride. This update brings a big relief to the people of Mumbai and makes their daily life a little bit easier and cooler.
