Important Mumbai Train News: Big Mega Block on Kalyan-Kasara Route on April 25 and 26

Important Mumbai Train News: Big Mega Block on Kalyan-Kasara Route on April 25 and 26

If you live in Mumbai, Kalyan, or nearby areas and travel by local train, please read this carefully. A very important message has come for the people who travel on the Central Railway. The Kalyan Kasara Karjat Railway Passengers Association has shared a big update for everyone. There will be a massive mega block on the train tracks this weekend. This big stop in service will happen on the weekend of Saturday, the twenty fifth of April, and Sunday, the twenty sixth of April, in the current year.

You might ask why the trains are stopping for so long. The railway workers have a lot of important construction work to finish. They are working on a big project to remodel the Khardi train yard. They also need to do heavy work for the new third train line between Kalyan and Kasara. This new track will help run more trains in the future and reduce the daily crowd. To do this heavy work safely, the railway bosses must turn off the power and stop the trains from running. This is why the mega block is very necessary.

The time for this mega block is very long. The work will start on Saturday afternoon at exactly twelve o’clock. The railway workers will work all day and all night. The block will finally finish on Sunday morning at three o’clock. Because this is a fifteen hour block, it will cause a lot of trouble for people who want to travel on Saturday afternoon and Saturday night.

If you want to travel from Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, which is commonly called CSMT, to Kasara, you must go very early. The very last direct train to Kasara will leave the CSMT station at eight thirty three in the morning. This train will reach Kasara at ten forty eight in the morning. After this morning’s train, there will be zero trains going all the way to Kasara for the rest of the day. The next train to Kasara will only start on Sunday early morning at four nineteen.

The same strict rule applies if you want to leave Kasara and go towards Mumbai city. The final train leaving the Kasara station will depart at ten eighteen in the morning. This train will arrive at CSMT at twelve forty in the afternoon. After this specific train leaves, no more trains will go towards Mumbai from Kasara. People in Kasara will have to wait until Sunday morning. The first train on Sunday will leave Kasara at three fifty one in the morning.

During this long block period, a big section of the track will be completely empty. There will be absolutely no local trains running between Asangaon station and Kasara station. If you catch a train from Mumbai during the block, the train will not go to Kasara. Instead, the train will stop early. It will end its journey at Asangaon station or Titwala station. You will have to get off the train there.

The passenger association has given some very good advice to everyone. They strongly request that you do not plan any travel towards Kasara after eleven in the morning on Saturday. If you really must travel past Asangaon, you will have to find a different way. You might need to catch a public bus, hire a private taxi, or ask a friend for a car ride. Please remember to check with the official railway inquiry office before you leave your house.

The local train is the lifeline of Maharashtra, and such blocks can make the day very hard. However, this hard work by the railway team is to make our future journeys faster and much safer. The passenger group asks all daily travellers to please tell their family and friends about this news. Sharing this important message will help many people avoid waiting at empty train stations. Please plan your weekend trip wisely and stay safe during your travels.

A major mega block will affect Central Railway services between Kalyan and Kasara on April 25–26. Due to critical yard remodeling at Khardi and construction of a third line, trains will halt for 15 hours. No services will run between Asangaon and Kasara during this period. Commuters should plan early travel or use alternate transport to avoid inconvenience during the weekend disruption
