Another very helpful service that is now permanent is the Palakkad to Kannur Daily Express. This train is a lifeline for hundreds of people who travel between these two busy cities every single day. The train will depart from Palakkad station in the afternoon at ten minutes to two. It will complete its journey and arrive at Kannur station in the evening at twenty five past seven. Because it runs every day, students, office workers, and small business owners can rely on it for their daily trips.
The railway department did not stop there. They have also made the Kannur to Kozhikode Daily Passenger train a permanent service. This is great news for short distance travelers. Furthermore, the unreserved train services running between Ernakulam and Kottayam have also been regularised. These trains will run on all weekdays from Monday to Friday.
