Malkajgiri Member of Parliament Eatala Rajender has recently reached out to the Union Railway Minister to talk about the problems faced by people using the Bolarum railway station. He met with the minister to ask for the modernization of this important station in Telangana. The MP explained that many people use this station every day to travel for work, school, and business. However, the station currently lacks many basic facilities that make traveling comfortable for common citizens. By requesting these changes, the MP aims to make the daily commute much easier for thousands of residents in the area.
Bolarum is a very old and historic railway station, but it has not seen much development in recent years. During his meeting, Eatala Rajender pointed out that the station needs better platforms and better seating arrangements for the passengers. Currently, when there is a large crowd, people find it very difficult to stand or sit while waiting for their trains. The MP suggested that the station should be upgraded under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, which is a government plan to improve railway stations across India. This would bring modern amenities like better lighting, clean drinking water, and improved toilets to the Bolarum station.

One of the biggest issues mentioned by the MP was the need for more foot over-bridges. Many people, including elderly citizens and children, find it dangerous and difficult to cross from one platform to another. A new and wider bridge would ensure that everyone can move safely within the station. Additionally, the MP asked for the extension of certain train services. He believes that if more trains stop at Bolarum or if the existing routes are lengthened, it will connect the local people to more parts of the city and the state. This would save a lot of time for people who currently have to travel to larger stations like Secunderabad to catch their trains.
The MP also talked about the importance of better parking and approach roads. Right now, the area around the station can get very crowded and messy. If the entrance of the station is improved and a proper parking lot is built, it will reduce traffic problems in the neighborhood. Better roads leading to the station would also help people reach their trains on time without getting stuck in mud or traffic during the rainy season. This development is not just about the station itself but also about improving the life of the entire community living around Bolarum.
Safety and security were also part of the discussion between the MP and the Railway Minister. Eatala Rajender requested more security staff and better surveillance at the station to protect the passengers, especially during late hours. He also highlighted that the local economy would grow if the station became a modern transport hub. When a station is well-maintained and has good facilities, more businesses like small shops and cafes can open nearby, providing jobs to local residents.
The Railway Minister listened to the requests and showed a positive response toward the development of the Bolarum station. People in the Malkajgiri constituency are now hopeful that their long-standing demands will finally be met. The MP promised the citizens that he would continue to follow up on this matter until the work begins. If these improvements are made, Bolarum railway station will transform from an old building into a modern gateway for the people of Telangana. This effort by Eatala Rajender is a significant step toward bringing better infrastructure and a higher quality of life to his followers and the general public.
Eatala Rajender has urged the Railway Ministry to upgrade Bolarum Railway Station with improved platforms, seating, foot over-bridges, and better passenger amenities. He also requested inclusion of the station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme to modernize facilities and enhance connectivity for daily commuters in the Malkajgiri region.
